Actress Luviena Lodh has posted a video on Instagram in a new Bollywood controversy, alleging that filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has been threatening her. Luviena revealed in the nearly two-minute long clip that she is married to Mahesh Bhatt's nephew Sumit Sabharwal, but because her husband offers drugs, she has filed for divorce. She also said that she filmed this video for the protection of herself and her family.

"I'm married to the nephew of Mahesh Bhatt, Sumit Sabharwal, but I filed a divorce case because I learned that he supplies actresses like Sapna Pabbi and Amyra Dastur with drugs. And Mahesh Bhatt is well aware of all this," the actress said. Luviena further claimed in the video, hitting out at the filmmaker, "Mahesh is the industry's biggest don, he runs the whole system.  He'll make it complicated for you if you don't abide by his rules. By throwing them out of work, Mahesh Bhatt destroyed a lot of lives. One phone call is made and people lose their job. He's been trying to reach my house and evict me from that house ever since I filed a complaint against him. No action is initiated on my NC files either and I manage to file and NC even after considerable difficulty."

"If something happens to me or my family, the only people responsible will be Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt, Sumit Sabharwal, Sahil Sehgal and Kumkum Sehgal.   People should know what all these people can do behind closed doors because Mahesh Bhatt is extremely powerful and powerful."Luviena concluded the video by naming the people who should be held accountable in the event of any untoward incident. In 2010, the film was directed by Pooja Bhatt, Luviena entered Bollywood with Himesh Reshammiya starring 'Kajrare'.

As per reports, however, on behalf of the filmmaker, Mahesh Bhatt’s lawyer has released a statement refuting the allegations as baseless and defamatory. They will also take legal action, the council added. The lawyer representing Vishesh Films shared, "Referring to a video released by Lavina Lodhi.  We, on behalf of Mahesh Bhatt, our client, deny the allegations. Not only are such claims unfounded and defamatory, but they have significant legal repercussions. Our client, as instructed, will take such action in compliance with the rule."
