In the latest development in the drugs case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested alleged drug peddler Regel Mahakal. He is accused of supplying drugs to Anuj Keshwani. Mahakal will be produced before court today. 

"He used to supply drugs to (another accused) Anuj Keshwani who further supplied it to others," an NCB official said.Reports said that the central anti-law enforcement drug agency is conducting raids at Milat Nagar, Lokhandwala in Mumbai. The central probe agency has reportedly recovered a substantial quantity of drugs during the raids.Earlier, Keshwani, an alleged drug peddler was arrested by the NCB in connection with a drug case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Keshwani was arrested after Kaizan Ebrahim disclosed his name and claimed that the former was his supplier for contrabands. 

Earlier, Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, Abdul Basit, Zaid Vilatra, Dipesh Sawant and Samuel Miranda, were arrested by the NCB in the drugs-related case pertaining to Sushant death case.While Rhea, former girlfriend of the late Bollywood actor, secured bail in October, her brother walked out of the prison after a special court in Mumbai granted him bail nearly three months after his arrest over drugs-related charges in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. 

The NCB began its probe into the drug angle in Sushant's death case after Enforcement Directorate, probing the alleged money-laundering charges in the sensational death case, retrieved some WhatsApp chats which hinted at the use of drugs.Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14. SSR's father', KK Singh, had filed a complaining with the Patna Police on July 28 and accused Rhea Chakraborty of abetting his son's suicide. Rhea's parents Indrajit Chakraborty and Sandhya Chakraborty, brother Showik Chakraborty, and common friends Samuel Miranda and Shruti Modi were named in the FIR.
