I Love Amaravat Removed At AP Bhavan

While the political situation in Andhra Pradesh is attracting everyone's attention with introduction of CRDA repeal bill and AP Decentralisation bill in assembly, the officials of AP Bhavan in New Delhi have removed 'I Love Amaravati' board which was placed before the office in TDP's regime. The board was erected after announcing Amaravati as capital city of Andhra and for every Sankaranthi, the officials used to spend hefty amount to lighten and decorate it.

But, the present scenario is totally different. After YSR Congress Party came to power, Jagan Mohan Reddy has proposed three capitals for AP and decided to go with it despite the strong agitations from Amaravati farmers. The bill was recently passed in State legislative assembly. As per the instructions from AP Bhavan resident commissioner Bhavana Saxena, officials have taken down 'I Love Amaravati' board from office premises.

In the past, visitors at AP Bhavan were curious to take selfies with this board. While many of us are seeing a political angle in this development, few officials tell that the board was removed to check the monkey menace.
