Hyderabad Brothers Rejection

It seems all is not well in the TRS' Greater Hyderabad wing. The joining of senior Congress leader and one of the 'Hyderabad Brothers' Danam Nagendar into TRS, and the second brother Mukesh Goud's plans to switch loyalties to KCR brewed fresh trouble in the TRS party.

Senior TRS leader and State Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Excise Minister Padma Rao raised strong objections to the joining of the Hyderabad Brothers into the TRS, fearing that they will lose their political existence in Hyderabad.

Though Talasani invited Danam into the party, the minister is strongly opposing Mukesh's entry. Buzz is that Talasani is feeling insecure as the two Congress leaders are strong in maintaining cadre and also have a strong grip on many Assembly segments.

Another senior leader and Home Minister Narasimha Reddy is already sulking over not being given him importance in the party. He argued that the TRS leaders who actively participated in the Telangana movement should be given priority in the party as well as in the government.

The joining of many other party leaders into TRS is not a good sign for the party. Some TRS leaders have already raised a banner of revolt in many Greater Hyderabad Assembly segments for being neglected during the allotment of party posts.

If the Hyderabad Brothers and their followers are given importance in the TRS, senior TRS leaders will not hesitate to rebel against the party's high command and also quit the party before the upcoming Assembly elections.
