Four Lions At A Zoo In Barcelona Have Tested Positive For Coronavirus?!?!? Deets Inside….

Four lions have tested COVID positive at a zoo in Barcelona, veterinary authorities said. According to a media study, this is only one of several confirmed cases globally where big cats have the disease. There are 3 women called Zala, Nima and Run Run along with a male named Kiumbe. When the keepers saw that they were displaying COVID symptoms, all four were examined. According to officials, two staff members have also tested positive. An inquiry is being undertaken to figure out how the lions got contaminated. The lions were tested by keepers just as humans are tested. The Barcelona Veterinary Service even got in touch with New York's Bronx Zoo. In April 4 tigers and 3 lions tested positive for COVID. They have all recovered.

"The lions were given veterinary care for their mild clinical condition – similar to a very mild flu condition – through anti-inflammatory treatment and close monitoring, and the animals responded well” the Barcelona Authority said. The male is 4, while the females are 16, respectively. They did not have any interaction with the remaining animals.
