CWC to construct 7 warehouses in Andhra over 2 years

The Central Warehousing Company (CWC) plans to assemble seven warehouses in Andhra Pradesh with a complete capability of over 18 lakh tonnes within the subsequent two monetary years, Minister of State for Meals and Client Affairs C R Chaudhary instructed the Lok Sabha this week.
She mentioned the CWC has already constructed six warehouses in Andhra Pradesh. One other about 1.28 million tonne capability of warehouses might be constructed at Kadapa, Nandyal, Renigunta, Sattenpalli, Nellore, Nandikotkur and Vadlamudi within the state throughout 2023-24 monetary yr, she mentioned.
One other 52,794 tonne of capability might be added by CWC throughout 2024-25 monetary yr, she added.
The minister additionally mentioned that Andhra Pradesh State Warehousing Company (APSWC), which has already constructed 20 warehouses within the state within the final three years, plans to assemble 10 extra within the state.
