VISAKHAPATNAM: As many as 29 conferences had been held with the State governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to resolve disputes. He stated the Centre acts as a facilitator for amicable settlement of the disputes between the 2 States in a spirit of mutual lodging and understanding. Numerous provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014 have been carried out and the remaining provisions are at varied levels of implementation. Among the provisions referring to infrastructure initiatives and academic establishments have lengthy gestation interval for which a time interval of 10 years has been prescribed within the Act, he defined.
