The Andhra Pradesh State authorities is in a determined search to develop its commerce relations by Free Commerce Agreements (FTAs) with numerous nations to sort out the problem from Chinese language patrons and United States for aqua exports.  China, U.S. and the European Union are the prime export locations of Andhra Pradesh for the aqua exports. 

“By 2022, Andhra Pradesh State secured first place in aqua exports and third place within the marine merchandise exports in India. The compoundable annual progress price of aqua exports of Andhra Pradesh is 9.5 % as towards nation’s 7%”, stated Fisheries Minister Seediri Appala Raju.

In a gathering held on October 28 in Kakinada, Mr. Appala Raju has appealed to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Minister of Commerce and Trade Piyush Goyal to discover prospects to signal Free Commerce Agreements (FTA) with the export locations to return to rescue of the aqua business and increase the aqua exports from Andhra Pradesh. 

Mr. Appala Raju has appraised the current state of aqua exports to Ms. Sitharaman and Piyush Goyal throughout the inauguration of the Indian Institute of International Commerce (IIFT-Kakinada) on October 28.

“If the FTAs are signed, it’ll give a fillip to the aqua business and improve contribution of Andhra Pradesh to the nation’s Gross Worth Added (GVA) price from the aqua business”, stated Mr. Appala Raju. State Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath was additionally accompanied Mr. Appala Raju within the assembly. The Andhra Pradesh share is 30% in India’s marine exports.
