West Godavari Collector P. Prasanthi on Saturday ordered a probe into the 4 Toddler mortalities and two maternal mortalities reported since September within the district.
Headed by the District Collector , the Committee on Toddler and Maternal Mortalities on Saturday reviewed the causes that led to the deaths.
In line with an official launch, the deaths of Kolla Vijayalakshmi (32) and Bagu Urmila (21) of Palakollu have been discovered to be maternal mortalities.
The docs and medical and well being workers had been clueless on the obvious causes for the toddler and maternal mortalities.
The Collector has questioned how might any maternal or toddler mortality happens when the well being standing of the deceased was good.
District Medical and Well being Officer D. Maheswara Rao and different officers had been directed to inquire into the six deaths and submit a report. The Collector has warned of ordering a magisterial inquiry into the deaths if there may be any negligence of the federal government workers in these deaths.
