TThe Prakasam district police have bagged two SKOCH awards for the 12 months 2022, stated a launch from the division in Ongole on Friday.
Whereas Superintendent of Police Malika Garg has been conferred the ‘SKOCH Silver Award-2022’ for the ‘Disha SOS App Mass Registration’ drive, the district police bagged ‘SKOCH Order of Benefit Award’ for Lacking Cellular Monitoring System service.
Initiatives like ‘Disha App Fortunate Draw Contest’, ‘Finest Mahila Police of the Week’ and ‘Disha Ambassadors’, taken up by the SP to get the Disha app nearer to girls, have drawn appreciation from authorities.
Buoyed on the announcement from SKOCH Group, Ms. Malika Garg stated the awards had been a recognition for the great work finished by the Prakasam police, and a morale booster to offer higher service to the individuals.
As many as 5,433 lacking cell complaints had been registered throughout the 12 months 2022 and out of which 2,250 cell telephones value ₹3.30 crore had been recovered and handed over to the respective homeowners, based on a report compiled by the District Police Workplace(DPO).
