The Kakinada Municipal Company (KMC) is all set to dispose rubbish piled up over the previous one-and-a-half a long time by establishing a Legacy Waste Administration Plant at Sanjay Nagar within the metropolis.
On Monday, Kakinada MP Vanga Geetha and metropolis MLA D. Chandrasekhar Reddy laid a basis stone to arrange the plant.
“The plant can be set as much as clear and get rid of above 3.62 lakh MT of rubbish piled up over the previous 15 years. The plant can be arrange at a value of ₹27.72 crore,” stated Ms. Geetha.
The KMC will launch ₹16.75 crore, State authorities is bear ₹4.39 crore and the Centre is more likely to grant ₹6.58 crore for the plant.
