Andhra Pradesh CM, spouse take part in Sankranti celebrations


Amaravati, Jan 14 (IANS): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his spouse Y. S. Bharati Reddy celebrated Sankranti on the chief minister’s official residence right here on Saturday amidst rural atmosphere and festive spirit.

The Chief Minister prolonged Sankranti greetings to all Telugu individuals internationally and wished them effectively on the event.

Reflecting the Sankranti opulence, the chief minister’s official residence was decked up with flowered arches and conventional Muggulu.

The CM and his spouse initiated the festivities by breaking the customary coconut at Lord Ganesha temple. Vedic Pundits blessed them by reciting Vedic hymns and presenting them new garments.

Attired in conventional apparel, they walked via the premises greeting the company individually and accepting their needs in return. They lit the standard bonfire.

YSRCP leaders, together with Authorities Chief Whip Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister (Endowments) Kottu Satyanarayana, Housing Minister Jogi Ramesh, TTD Chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy, MP Nandigam Suresh and Authorities Whip Samineni Udayabhanu have been among the many contributors.

Earlier, the Chief Minister and his spouse carried out Go-Puja (cow worship) on the Goshala by garlanding it. On the event, they supplied Bhiksha to Hari dasu and the Sankranti Gangireddu.

In addition they inspected the replicas of Village Secretariat, Authorities Faculty, Village Clinic and Rythu Bharosa Kendram specifically erected on the premises.

In addition they witnessed the dance drama of Srinivasa Kalyanam and listened to the favored numbers Gobbi YelloaGobbi Yello rendered by people singer Kanakavva and Komma Uyyala by RRR fame singers Prakruti Redy and Harinka Narayan.
