The Panchayat Raj & Rural Growth (PR&RD) Division launched ₹1,585.60 crore in the direction of distribution of 62.33 lakh pensions for the month of October payable from November 1 to five, based on a press launch by Deputy CM and Minister for PR&RD, B. Mutyala Naidu.
He said that the previous aged individuals, widows and physically-challenged individuals account for an unlimited chunk of the pensions to be distributed on the doorsteps of beneficiaries by means of biometric-, iris- and facial authentication in real-time.
A complete of two.66 lakh ward and village volunteers and 15,000 Ward Welfare Growth Secretaries and training assistants will give away the pensions. The method will probably be monitored from name centres opened in DRDA workplaces.
