As many as 10,431 farmers have registered with the Rythu Barosa Kendras for drip and sprinkling services within the 15 upland mandals within the Eluru district.
In accordance with an official launch, ₹19.88 crore has been earmarked for the drip and sprinkling gear to be given to the eligible farmers as a part of the goal to carry 6,000 hectares beneath the micro irrigation system.
Farmers cultivating under 5 acres of land might be eligible to get the drip irrigation facility with 90% subsidy.
